- Associate Client Advisor
Description
The firm is hiring an Associate Client Advisor to support Client Advisors managing and servicing investment advisory relationships with discretionary (OCIO) and non-discretionary (consulting) institutional and private clients.
Responsibilities include:
Responding to client inquiries, providing updates, and building relationships.
Managing the preparation for regular client Investment Committee (IC) meetings including preparing presentations, organizing materials, taking notes, and completing follow-up items/projects.
Collaborating with the firm’s investment team to produce research and analysis for clients.
Collaborating with the firm’s reporting team to design and produce performance reports that meet clients’ needs and specifications.
Collaborating with the firm operations team to service clients (e.g., portfolio rebalancing)
Identifying and resolving client issues and escalating complex problems when needed.
Support prospecting/business development efforts for new institutional and private wealth clients in coordination with the Firm’s team of Advisors.
Active use of the CRM tool to manage clients and prospects.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and characteristics:
Highly organized, proactive, and able to work within a team to marshal internal resources as needed for client assignments.
Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities; proven ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills, plus attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Five to ten years of experience in the investment management business is preferred. Investment advisor license (Series 65 or 66) is preferred and would eventually be required of a candidate within one year of hiring. CFA designation or candidacy are a plus.
This position is based in our Hunt Valley, MD location and reports to our Co-Managing Partner, Director of Client Advisory. Moderate travel is expected.
