Description
Overview:We are seeking an experienced proactive Pension Operations & Governance Specialist to support the operational, regulatory and governance requirements of our DC Solutions business including The Aon MasterTrust and Group Personal Pension.
This role will drive process improvements, ensure regulatory compliance and provide key reporting and analysis for Trustees and other internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee reporting requirements, including preparation of required regulatory reports.
- Prepare operational updates Trustees.
- Support Value for Money reporting and development of processes to deliver on this.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Initiate and manage supplier governance reviews.
- Coordinate operational meetings with suppliers.
- Oversee contracting and due diligence for new services.
Operational Oversight
- Prepare operations reports for key supplier relationship review meetings.
- Manage operational projects, risk assessments and oversee change management initiatives.
- Proactively keep wider team members updated on operational performance and developments.
- Take responsibility for delivering on Consumer Duty requirements
Governance & Trustee Support
- Support Governance Advisory Arrangement (GAA) activities for The Aon GPP, including data collation, audit representation and report review.
- Conduct regular internal reporting on member activity, monitor for trends or areas of concern and make recommendations based on activity/trends.
- Support enquiries about benefits, by interpreting and applying existing and new legislation and governance documents and referring to internal and external resources where appropriate.
- Present to senior stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in pension scheme operations, regulatory compliance, or governance required. Aon specific procedural and Operational Framework training will be given.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with data analysis and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of UK pension regulations and Consumer Duty requirements.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
