Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategy with organizational goals. The HRBP provides strategic and hands-on support in the areas of employee relations, talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, and culture initiatives. This role ensures that HR practices drive performance, engagement, and retention while reflecting Shoals values.
HR Business Partner Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with leaders to understand business objectives and support HR solutions that drive results.
Provide data-driven insights to guide decision-making on talent, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption
Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent reviews within assigned business groups.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to address current openings and forecasted needs.
Support performance management processes, including goal setting, check-ins, and reviews.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to address current openings and forecasted needs.
Conduct salaried onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Lead the salaried termination process to ensure all offboarding procedures are followed.
Assist in updating and maintaining HRIS data to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Promote programs that drive employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building.
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in training and human resources.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
Support annual HR processes (compensation planning, engagement surveys, benefits enrollment, etc.).
Partner with Total Rewards on compensation and benefits matters to ensure fairness and competitiveness.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of HR regulations and compliance.
Demonstrated experience in developing and leading company-wide training initiatives.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office applications.
