You will stand up the U.S. AI inventory, coordinate intake and assessments, and implement controls that ensure responsible use of AI across business teams.
Key Responsibilities
AI Governance Program Development
- Establish and maintain the U.S. AI Governance framework aligned with enterprise Model/Non‑Model standards and Responsible AI guidelines.
- Define lightweight, practical processes for AI intake, review, documentation, and monitoring with human oversight.
AI Inventory & Intake
- Build and maintain a centralized inventory of AI tools, use cases, and automation solutions across U.S. business units.
- Manage intake and classification workflows, directing use cases to the appropriate governance path.
First Line Controls & Risk Management
- Implement human‑in‑the‑loop review steps and operational controls that ensure safe use of AI tools.
- Track adherence to documentation, data quality, monitoring, and change management requirements.
- Escalate risks and coordinate remediation actions when needed.
Training, Adoption & Change Management
- Help business teams understand governance expectations and how to use AI tools responsibly.
- Provide guidance on when human oversight is required and how to apply controls.
- Promote healthy adoption of AI tools anchored in transparency, explainability, and accountability.
Program Operations & Reporting
- Maintain dashboards and reporting for inventory completeness, risk posture, and governance outcomes.
- Support cross‑functional working groups across Risk, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and the business.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong program, process, or risk management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, adapt quickly, and improve workflows using technology.
- Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills.
- Comfort working with cross‑functional stakeholders and managing ambiguity in emerging programs.
- Familiarity with governance, compliance, operational risk, or model risk concepts (not deep expertise).
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Exposure to AI tools (e.g., copilots, automation tools, analytics platforms).
- Experience in financial services, risk management, or regulatory environments.
- Basic understanding of responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, human oversight).
