Job Description
The People Leader Partner (PLP) is part of a global team responsible for coaching People Leaders and their teams across the North America Region (NAR). The role works closely with their respective People Business Partner to ensure the People Leaders successfully execute workforce strategy, the People Strategy and that their teams have clear accountabilities and capabilities to deliver on their goals and KPI's in line with global/local policies and guidelines and tools. Engages with local People Partner in case of specific legal limitations or local labor law requirements. Support people leaders in understanding way of working in People Function Operating Model, personally being an advocate and role model.
Your role:
- Partner with People Leaders to ensure organizational capability by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent; provide coaching to enhance leadership effectiveness; enable impactful performance management aligned with global philosophy and local guidelines; role model a culture of impact with care; manage engagement and act on Employee Engagement Survey feedback; and ensure efficient onboarding using global resources.
- Drive organizational and workforce effectiveness by aligning organizational structures with business needs and workforce plans; optimizing costs through effective position and grade management (CG70 and below); designing people impact assessments and strategies for business transformations; and managing medium‑complex, multi‑business and/or multi‑country environments while applying independent judgment.
- Ensure compliance, governance, and employee insights by conducting exit interviews for select critical roles and integrating feedback into leadership strategies; ensuring adherence to People Partner guidance, cultural norms, and local regulations; representing business context in union or works council discussions; and coordinating appropriate handoffs for legally sensitive cases such as reorganizations and performance improvement plans.
You're the right fit if:
- You've acquired 5+ years of experience in People Partnering or similar roles, preferably in a regional or global environment or 3+ years of experience with Master's in areas such as People Management, Change Management, HR Processes or equivalent.
- Your skills include a proven ability to coach, develop, and influence People Leaders, while fostering a culture of high performance and leadership excellence. You have experience leading organizational change, business transformation, and People Initiatives that deliver measurable impact.
- You have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, People Management, Change Management, HR Processes or equivalent.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .
- You're an excellent communicator with strong strategic influencing skills, able to challenge and guide People Leaders. You have extensive experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across various geographies, cultures, and businesses. You navigate ambiguity and high-complex situations, providing clear guidance and solutions. You operate with a high degree of autonomy, shaping and executing strategies while aligning with the People Business Partner.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is $93,000 - $148,000.
The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $105,000- $166,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives, may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
Additional Information
US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Nashville, TN or Cambridge, MA.
