Description
As a Product Delivery Associate in Teller Transactions Product - User Acceptance Testing team, you enable the release of products and features by overcoming obstacles. As an emerging member of the team, you work across the organization and enable the product to continuously deliver value, while gaining skills and experience to grow within your role.In Teller Transactions Product under Branch Operations Product - User Acceptance Testing team, you will work with Product, Technology, Design, and Data Analytics partners to test new initiatives. As a Testing Analyst, your responsibilities include testing user stories during sprints, conducting regression and end-to-end tests, and tracking system issues to resolution. You will advocate for users and customers, ensuring high quality and meaningful improvements with every release.
Job responsibilities
- Supports delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while highlighting opportunities to improve efficiencies.
- Contributes to change management activities across functional partners and documents adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Documents blockers and impediments to aid with dependency management and resource availability.
- Collaborates with the Product Delivery Manager to engage stakeholders and cross-functional partners to manage dependencies and timelines.
- Perform testing for assigned projects using established processes and tools to ensure quality, reliability, and security.
- Lead test efforts and mentor peers. Document test plans, scripts, defects, and reports. Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to identify and prepare test data.
- Assist developers and support staff in problem resolution. Understand interfacing applications, test environments, and tools.
- Manage multiple priorities and tight timelines. Participate in project quality reviews and assess risks, making recommendations as needed.
- Drive improvements in test processes and facilitate methodology discussions. Support project implementation and post-implementation reviews to identify gaps
- Maintain test case inventory and evaluate opportunities for process improvement or automation.
- Collaborate with scrum teams and participate in sprint ceremonies. Participate in the writing and/or refinement of user stories, tasks, and spike cards. Support for Production Validation and other release related activities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, project management, or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated experience or equivalent expertise in product management, project management, or a relevant domain area.
- Exposure to operational management and change readiness workstream.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of system/application software testing
- Skilled in writing use cases, functional specs, scenarios, workflows, test cases, and test plans
- Motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Work well under pressure with excellent attention to detail
- Experience in test case development and defect resolution
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Emerging knowledge of product release and deployment processes
- Familiarity with JIRA and Agile methodology
- Teller application or branch experience preferred
