Job Profile Summary:
Experienced, functional area expert with technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise. Responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to stakeholders to identify and understand the business in which they work. Serves as a lead consultant for designing business process solutions on large and complex projects or programs. Helps oversee the design of business process requirements and helps drive strategy and directions in achieving the business results. Helps incorporate industry standards and best practices to define strategies that improve existing business processes.
Job Description
Major Duties:
1. Provides comprehensive technical support in planning and monitoring the activities that are necessary to complete a business analysis effort
2. Identifies business process techniques used to manage and deliver on requirements
3. Helps manage conflicts, issues and changes to requirements in order to ensure stakeholders and the project team are all in agreement on the solution scope.
4. Responsible for managing the business need, refines and clarifies the definition of that need, and designs and produces a solution that can feasibly be implemented by the business.
5. Designs and proposes solutions which can best fit the business need, identifies gaps and shortcoming in solutions, and determines necessary work-around or changes to the solution
6. Carries out initiatives that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult and may involve multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues
7. Strategic in developing, implementing and providing oversight of materials related to testing and deployment activities within Technology functional area
8. Role is focused on development and execution of strategic technology activities that cross functional lines
9. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to help improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
Knowledge:
• In-depth knowledge of testing and deployment artifacts aligned with Release Management activities, including, but not limited to, technology builds, code hardening/security, access security and data migration and/or validation plans
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• In-depth knowledge of business analysis / Industry Knowledge is required
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change
• Leadership and organizational skills are required to help align with the Business Unit's goals.
Experience:
• College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required. Demonstrates excellent experience in change initiatives, with a track record of accomplishment in large, complex projects.
