Join our Encavis team as a Senior Portfolio Manager and play an active role in shaping the energy transition as part of our Development Team. You will drive the transition to digital-first systems and scalable processes, ensure the integrity and quality of our development data, and optimise processes for smooth portfolio operations. Using tools such as Sitetracker and our M365 collaboration space, you will establish robust feedback loops, continuous improvement and excellent data control - enabling efficient, scalable project development and seamless collaboration across teams and countries. • Portfolio overview & data quality: You ensure high data quality across all project portfolios, keep master data up to date and establish effective standards and controls for reliable portfolio reporting.
• Process optimisation & digital control: You drive the digitalisation and optimisation of our development processes, automate workflows and integrate decision-making and approval mechanisms into our digital tools.
• Continuous improvement & feedback: You establish structured feedback and learning loops, ensure that lessons learned are transferred to systems such as Sitetracker, and thus promote the sustainable further development of our working methods.
• Contract & compliance management: You will implement and manage our commercial contract management, ensure regulatory compliance and guarantee complete and audit-proof digital documentation of all obligations.
• Collaboration & reporting: You will work closely with data engineers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate, up-to-date and decision-relevant project reporting.

• Projektleitung (PV + BESS): Du übernimmst die Verantwortung für Utility-Scale PV- und BESS-Projekte von der Origination bis RTB/FID und stellst die Einhaltung technischer, kaufmännischer und regulatorischer Anforderungen sicher.
• Hybridisierung & Systemdesign: Du treibst die Integration vonBatteriespeicher-systemen (BESS) in Photovoltaik-Projekte voran, um den Projektwert und die Netzflexibilität zu maximieren. Hierbei stimmst du dich eng mit unseren Engineering Teams zu hybrid-fähigen Lösungen ab.
• Genehmigungsplanung: Du steuerst alle Genehmigungsaktivitäten gemäß deutschen Regularien, entwickelst effiziente Workflows und pflegst nachhaltige Beziehungen zu den zuständigen Behörden.
• Wirtschaftlichkeit & Technische Machbarkeit: Du kümmerst dich um Flächenrechte und Netzanschlüsse, erstellst belastbare Investitionsvorlagen und bereitest umfassende Projektdokumentationen vor.
• Stakeholder-Management: Du baust vertrauensvolle Beziehungen zu Flächeneigentümern, Netzbetreibern, Regulatoren und lokalen Gemeinden auf und informierst diese transparent über Projektfortschritte.
• Reporting & Schnittstellenkoordination: Du lieferst klare, nachvollziehbare Projektupdates und arbeitest proaktiv mit den Teams Finance, Legal, Engineering sowie Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) zusammen, um Projektziele termingerecht zu erreichen.

• Professional experience & industry knowledge: You have at least five years of experience in portfolio or project management, operations or digital transformation - ideally in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector.
• Technological expertise & tool affinity: You have strong skills in using Microsoft 365, are proficient in workflow automation solutions and are confident in working with project management systems such as Sitetracker.
• Data quality & system compliance: You attach great importance to accurate, reliable data, ensure clear quality standards and make sure that feedback mechanisms are consistently implemented across teams and tools.
• Analytical thinking & process understanding: You critically analyse existing processes, identify potential for optimisation and drive the further development of digital processes in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
• Language skills: You communicate confidently in English and German in a business environment; other languages such as Spanish or Italian are a plus.
• Mobility & flexibility: You are willing to travel internationally on occasion to support projects, teams or partners on site.

  • Studium: Du bringst ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Engineering, Umweltwissenschaften, Betriebswirtschaft oder einem vergleichbaren Fachgebiet mit.
  • Berufserfahrung: Du verfügst über 5-8 Jahre Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Erneuerbare-Energien-Projekten, insbesondere im PV-Bereich, und hattest idealerweise bereits erste Berührungspunkte mit BESS-Projekten.
  • Regulatorisches Know-how: Du kennst die relevanten deutschen regulatorischen Rahmenbedingungen sowie behördliche Genehmigungsprozesse und steuerst unsere Stakeholder sicher bei komplexen Verfahren.
  • Projektmanagement & Analysefähigkeiten: Du überzeugst mit exzellenter Projektmanagement-Kompetenz, starkem Organisationstalent sowie technischem und kaufmännischem Verständnis, einschließlich Financial-Analysis-Methoden wie NPV und IRR.
  • Kommunikation & Verhandlung: Du bringst ausgeprägte Kommunikationsstärke und souveräne Verhandlungskompetenz mit und bist in der Lage, unterschiedlichste Stakeholder zuverlässig zu managen.
  • Sprachen & Mobilität: Du kommunizierst fließend auf Deutsch und Englisch und bist bereit, regelmäßig innerhalb Deutschlands (und gelegentlich international) zu reisen.
