Join our global Client & Account Services (CAS) organization and help redefine the end‑to‑end payments data experience across the Corporate & Investment Bank. We are seeking a forward‑thinking Vice President, Strategic Change Manager, to lead a multi‑year reference data remediation agenda that strengthens controls, elevates data quality, and improves client outcomes across regions.As a Strategic Change - Payments Reference Vice President within the CAS Strategy and Transformation team, you'll own the strategy, governance, and delivery of initiatives that reduce payment errors and losses, improve data quality, and enhance client experience and operational resilience. In this role, you'll lead a team of program and change professionals, partner closely with Operations, Technology, Product, Risk, and Compliance, manage budget and capacity, set OKRs, and ensure regulatory alignment.
Job responsibilities
- Prioritize and deliver cross‑regional initiatives that cut payment errors, raise STP, and improve data quality (e.g., SSIs, beneficiary/bank masters, BIC/IBAN, routing codes).
- Run senior steercos/boards; ensure first‑line controls are well‑designed and operating effectively; maintain audit readiness and clear reporting.
- Define targets and track benefits (error‑rate reduction, STP uplift, cycle‑time gains, loss avoidance); drive timely, data‑backed remediation.
- Partner with, Product, Tech, and Operations on solution architecture, and automation.
- Build dashboards and scorecards with leading/lagging indicators; run workshops and working groups; escalate risks/issues promptly.
- Map processes, close control gaps, embed real‑time validations/rules engines/case management, and monitor post‑implementation outcomes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in financial services with significant Operations/Markets/Securities Services/client onboarding experience
- Experience leading teams and senior stakeholders.
- Proven delivery of complex, cross‑border remediation/transformation with clear benefits, budget ownership, and governance leadership.
- Strong communicator and storyteller, comfortable in MD‑level forums; excellent written materials and PowerPoint.
- Advanced analytics and OKR/KPI design; data‑driven decision‑making.
- Deep payments/control expertise: SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, STP, exception lifecycle, reconciliation, Nostro management, and payments risk/remediation best practices.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- MBA; PMP/Prince2 and/or Agile (SAFe/Scrum)
- Operating model and large‑scale transformation experience
