Description
As Lendo continues to scale, we're seeking a Strategic Portfolio Manager to help turn our strategic priorities into structured, well-governed execution. In this role, you'll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritise initiatives, define execution plans, and maintain a clear, portfolio-level view of progress, dependencies, and risks. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our most important initiatives are delivered efficiently, on time, and in line with Lendo's growth ambitions.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the portfolio of strategic projects and initiatives by collecting and analyzing schedule, scope, and financial data, identifying priorities and interdependencies, and ensuring alignment with the approved strategic roadmap.
- Develop and manage end-to-end timelines, milestones, and dependencies for strategic initiatives, implementing and tracking them using project management tools such as Jira or Microsoft Project.
- Apply strategic project management frameworks, guidelines, and control standards by supporting departments in interpretation, compliance, and preparation of periodic governance and compliance reports.
- Support the development and execution of the annual strategic initiatives plan by coordinating with all departments, tracking implementation progress, and reporting performance against approved timelines and targets.
- Prepare and monitor quality control plans for strategic initiatives by tracking performance data, documenting deviations and non-compliance, and providing technical recommendations to improve execution quality.
- Review and assess change and funding requests by analyzing scope, timeline, and budget impacts, and providing execution-focused recommendations to support management decisions.
- Monitor execution at the operational level through weekly progress reports and consolidated monthly Steering Committee updates, highlighting completion rates, risks, dependencies, and cost or timeline deviations.
- Prepare performance measurement reports and dashboards by extracting and analyzing KPIs/OKRs, enabling management to track progress toward strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of overall professional experience, with at least 2 years in project, portfolio management, or PMO roles
- Hands-on experience using at least one project management tool (e.g. Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar)
- Strong understanding of project and portfolio management methodologies
- PRINCE2, Agile, or PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory
