Job Purpose and Impact
The Continuous Improvement Specialist role involves leading and managing the plant's CI roadmap while building a portfolio of cost-saving projects, as well as tracking, analyzing, and reporting monthly performance KPIs. It also requires facilitating RCA workshops and driving Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, while improving process stability and reducing variability in critical parameters. In addition, the position focuses on coaching teams to make data-driven decisions, ensuring accountability in improvement actions, supporting SOP standardization, and enhancing cross-shift communication, all in close partnership with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to eliminate losses.
This role is responsible for driving cost-reduction projects, improving process stability, enhancing operational discipline, and embedding a sustainable continuous improvement culture aligned with business strategy. You will will lead, develop, implement and sustain process improvement, productivity enhancement initiatives and strengthen performance management across the plant.
Key Accountabilities
Directly provide updates on the project objectives, performance measures, issues and risks to senior staff.
Identify, monitor, and implement continuous improvement best practices.
Conduct organization readiness assessments, value realization, opportunity prioritization, resource evaluation and execute continuous improvement strategies that meet business requirements.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or related field)
3 to 6 years of experience in manufacturing / operational excellence roles
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools
Experience in performance management and KPI systems
Advanced data analysis skills (Power BI, Excel; Minitab)
Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
Change management capability and structured problem solving skills
Strong communication and influence skills
Preferred Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
