What You Do
Strategic Management
- Support the PPG team in advancing Group Audit's mission and vision.
- Promote alignment of audit structure, strategy and resourcing with Group objectives, governance expectations, emerging risks and leading internal audit practices.
- Support the advancement of audit standards, regulatory frameworks and governance expectations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders within Group Audit to develop practical, simplified solutions addressing division-specific risks.
- Support special projects aligned with Group Audit priorities.
People
- Monitor measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) for audit teams to achieve the division's goals.
- Lead by example by modelling bank desired behaviours.
- Champion a prudent risk and compliance culture that promotes good ethics, accountability and good conduct among staff.
- Continue to learn, grow and consistently exhibit the core values of the Bank.
Deliverables Management
- Act as lead for the audit management system, embedding methodology requirements and supporting consistent adoption across audit teams.
- Enhance and implement control frameworks within Internal Audit operations, supporting clear documentation of risks and controls.
- Manage oversight of outstanding audit issues, monitoring status, analysing trends and preparing regular reporting for Group Audit and key stakeholders.
- Monitor audit plan execution, delivery timelines and budget utilisation, reporting progress and outcomes for Group Audit and key stakeholders.
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and management information at the request of the Group Audit Leadership Team Partner with the Group Audit Data Analytics specialist to provide analytics support for the PPG team, using tools such as Power BI or equivalent platforms.

Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial services internal audit, preferably in audit methodology, quality assurance, risk assessment, planning and governance reporting.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Good writing skills with proven track record of producing clear, concise and organised write-ups for the intended audience
- Detail-oriented, Strong analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking and time management skills.
