Description
Job DescriptionThe Customer Project Manager Stream Lead ensures all customer projects / programs are managed by their team of Customer PMs are delivered within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Contains projects throughout all phases, starting from delivery approach identification to completion / care / operation. Comprises management of customer (and all stakeholder) relationships and expectations during the contract fulfilment as well as project team members / resources. Contains project risk management, and driving of improvement actions to secure project gross margin and upselling and cross-selling..
Responsibilities
- Line Management of a stream of Customer Project Managers, ensuring clear direction and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Monitor utilization of the stream members and actively assign Customer Project Managers in a flexible and efficient manner across all customer projects in the stream's domain.
- Actively encouraging the stream members to develop clear career paths and enabling skill development in key competences.
- Ensure resource gaps within the stream are clearly identified and raise official requests to D&I Head for additional support where needed.
- Take on specific projects and CPM duties to lead and coordinate customer projects, ensuring alignment with Nokia's operational standards and methodologies.
- Manage project delivery, maintaining oversight of cost, scope, schedule, and quality (CSSQ) to meet customer contract obligations.
- Plan and adapt project schedules, ensuring proactive change management and consistent communication with stakeholders.
- Facilitate successful handovers between project phases, ensuring smooth transitions from sales to execution and delivery to care.
- Implement risk management strategies, maintaining an up-to-date project status in all relevant tools and repositories
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in Telecom or IT, with a focus on external end-customer delivery in the Telco Operator domain
- Delivered projects with a solid understanding of waterfall and Agile methodologies, as well as DevOps solutions
- Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Prince2)
- Experience in customer requirements analysis, project planning, and solution design
- Experience with Japan telecom operators/carriers
- Willingness to embrace the latest autonomous network delivery models in the Deploy & Integrate environment.
- Native level in Japanese is a MUST, with basic business level in English.
