2Job Purpose
The Vice President, Digital Delivery Manageris responsible for ensuring strong program governance across strategic Digital initiatives for Retail Banking Group & overseeing end-to-end digital release management. This will be a global role to lead and govern across all regions and markets of RBG Digital.
The role is responsible for driving governance oversight across strategic programs and digital initiatives spanning across all markets of RBG Digital, by establishing standardized delivery frameworks, controls, reporting structures, and decision-making processes. Ensures alignment with organizational objectives and delivery standards, through effective governance forums, executive reporting, issue and dependency management, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination to support successful and controlled program execution.
The role is further responsible for establishing and managing governance frameworks of all markets for digital releases across RBG Digital's Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC). Ensures all release activities comply with organizational standards, change management processes, risk controls, audit requirements, and operational governance policies. Oversees release approvals, readiness reviews, dependency management, deployment controls, stakeholder governance forums, and escalation processes to ensure stable, compliant, and well-coordinated production releases across the organization. Drives structured feedback loops across digital squads by leveraging data from releases, incidents, and operational performance to enable continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

Program Management
- Lead and oversee large-scale strategic initiatives cutting across multiple squads, tribes, functions, and markets, ensuring aligned governance, execution consistency, stakeholder coordination, and successful delivery across the global organization
- Deliver programs to meet organizational objectives and program success criteria.
- Present overall status, blockers, risks, dependencies in regular forums including planning sessions, weekly meetings and/or Steering Committees as required
- Perform program management activities such as planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting - status, quality, risk in an Agile approach (work with Tribe Leads, Product Owners, Agile Coaches and Lead Engineers as required)
- Co-ordinate team resources to complete assigned tasks within program/BAU targets
- Ensure key activities are executed according to strict program and program portfolio objectives
- Act as the central point of governance for managing program escalations across squads, tribes, functions, and markets, ensuring timely decision-making and risk mitigation
Release Management
- Designing and implementing policies, processes and tools that will enforce proactive adherence and governance to the Release Management framework
- Facilitate release governance meetings and drive decision-making for release readiness, risks, dependencies, and approvals.
- Ensure all releases comply with organizational policies, audit requirements, security standards, and change management processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize release governance, deployment efficiency, and operational stability.
- Oversee post-release reviews, incident tracking, lessons learned, and corrective action implementation.
- Support Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices while maintaining governance and control requirements.
- Establish and drive structured feedback loops with squads through reporting mechanisms across releases, incidents, defects, and change activities, to drive continuous improvement, delivery predictability, and operational stability.
- Act as the central governance point for major digital releases and enterprise deployments.
- Govern and standardize key digital governance activities including RCSA, SOP management, Agile methodologies, process controls, and operational governance practices to ensure consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across the digital organization.

- Works within a multidisciplinary team or in an environment in which multidisciplinary teamwork is carried out.
- Works in a fast-paced environment where fast decision-making, rapid problem-solving and quick escalation (where required) is needed
- Collaborates with key stakeholders (e.g. Senior Management, CRB, Business Governance, risk, compliance, CXCG, Business Product Owners, Digital squads etc.) and creates good rapport with different levels of seniority within the organization
- Strict compliance with bank's policy and procedures
- Since many releases are deployed outside of normal working hours and days, the role may require occasionally to be available nights and weekends
- Support governance and oversight of broader digital operating frameworks including RCSA, SOP adherence, Agile governance practices, and enterprise delivery standards to strengthen operational maturity and governance consistency across regions.
- Involves all relevant stakeholders in problem solving and assign ownership for the improvement actions identified
- Ensures timely response during deployment windows
- Provide solutions for improving controls in a highly risk environment
- Conduct and facilitate cross-functional root-cause-problem-solving techniques to eliminate problems and prevent repetition
- Approves/Rejects production deployments by the Digital squads depending on adherence to the Release Management framework
- Transparent and independent reporting of program/project status
- Blockers, risks and dependencies putting the program/project at risk, to be raised fast and early
- Managing a team
- A post graduate degree with 15+ years in diverse banking departments, with strong knowledge of Digital and Tech delivery program governance, and enterprise delivery frameworks
- Understand technical/digital solution and implication. Functional and technology knowledge on major banking applications
- Strong knowledge of operational governance practices including RCSA, SOP management, risk management, audit, and compliance frameworks.
- Senior Stakeholder Management
- Focused mindset on governance, compliance and controls
- Deep understanding of change management practices, particularly stakeholder analysis, workforce readiness and leadership communications.
- Interpersonal skills with good decision making and communication skills with multi-tasking capabilities.
- Excellent program and program management experience.
- Working in an Agile environment as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master, with the responsibility of defining MVPs, OKRs, incremental deliveries etc.
- Strong organizational and presentation capability
- Take initiatives in implementing strict project / program management guidelines and disciplines
