The South West region of WA has a population of over 250,000 people and more than 300 general practitioners, yet South West (WA) Gastroenterology is the only practice providing resident gastroenterology services. This is a region crying out for specialist GI care.
You will working alongside our established collegiate gastroenterology and colorectal team and will benefit from:

We are a progressive GI group committed to delivering exceptional gastrointestinal care to regional Western Australia. We're growing a multidisciplinary GI team to meet soaring local demand and provide patients with comprehensive, connected care close to home.
South West (WA) Gastroenterology has a close working relationship with the Department of Gastroenterology at Fiona Stanley Hospital, the metropolitan tertiary referral hospital for gastroenterology in the region. The Head of Department, Dr Callum Pearce, would be pleased to meet with a suitable applicant to discuss how they may support your service to the region.
What We’re Looking For
FRACP in Gastroenterology (or international equivalent)
AHPRA registration or eligibility
Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Passion for quality, patient-centred care
A desire to enjoy life outside the hospital walls
Please note we are unable to provide the required period of supervision for candidates who require this to complete FRACP (gastroenterology) recognition.
