What the day will look like

• Lead and deliver the digital underwriting strategy for Aon Underwriting Managers (AUM), aligning technology, data and AI with business growth objectives.
• Represent AUM in the development and rollout of Aon's Digital Placement Exchange (DPX) and wider placement platforms.
• Transform underwriting processes through digital solutions, data-driven decision making and algorithmic underwriting capabilities.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement, identifying emerging technologies that enhance performance, efficiency and partner experience.
• Act as a visible change leader, embedding digital thinking and fostering adoption across underwriting teams.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders across Aon and carrier partners, aligning digital initiatives with commercial objectives and delivering measurable business value.
• Serve on the AUM Executive Committee, helping shape the future operating model and digital agenda of the business.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Proven underwriting or delegated authority leader with strong experience of digital transformation and technology-enabled change.
• Strong understanding of London Market dynamics, underwriting operations and delegated authority frameworks.
• Strategic problem solver with a track record of delivering business change through collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across underwriting, technology and commercial teams.
• Comfortable translating complex technical concepts into practical business opportunities and outcomes.
• Passionate about innovation, with the ability to inspire others and champion new ways of working.
