Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Mercer. This role will be based in Boston, MA. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.The Business Operations Analyst will work directly in the Global Chief Operating Officer group for Mercer's Investment Solutions (OCIO) business, assisting with business planning, financial analysis and key projects. The role will report directly to the Business & Finance Manager.
We will count on you to:
- Lead small scale projects along with developing and maintaining detailed project plans with goals and milestones.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvements, designed to support the growth of our business and to adapt staffing models to business changes.
- Work with operational stakeholders to ensure that decisions are executed timely.
- Ensure that all new client onboarding compliance requirements are met.
- Assist with implementation of process improvements with the global team.
- Be risk-aware and contribute to culture of continuous improvement.
- Implementing and managing changes to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Work with stakeholders to understand and develop requirements along with coordinating with cross-discipline team members to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field of study.
- 3-8 years of experience in Asset Management / Financial Services with progressive increase in responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment where adherence to procedures and controls is critical.
- Strong understanding of project management, project execution and change management.
- Understanding of investment management operations.
- Strong analytical and financial planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $54,000 to $108,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
