Investment Transformation Business Analysts - Operating Model & Technical Implementation Roles & Responsibilities Operating Model Business Analyst
As an Operating Model Business Analyst , you will be responsible for the following:-

1. Conduct detailed business and operating model analysis to understand the impact of transformation initiatives across the investment organization.
2. Assess changes across multiple dimensions including people, processes, technology, data, finance, contracts, and services .
3. Analyse current-state processes and operating arrangements and support the development of future-state operating models.
4. Identify cross-functional dependencies, downstream impacts and operational implications arising from proposed changes.
5. Engage directly with business, investment, operations and other functional stakeholders to gather information and clarify business requirements.
6. Facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops and translate findings into clear, structured and actionable deliverables.
7. Support business process redesign and broader operating model transformation activities.
8. Produce detailed analysis, process documentation, impact assessments and other project outputs required to support implementation.
9. Work independently with project leadership to take ownership of assigned areas and drive analysis through to completion.

Technical Implementation Business Analyst
As a Technical Implementation Business Analyst , you will be responsible for the following:-

1. Work closely with investment, operations, technology and data stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
2. Analyse investment management and investment operations processes and identify impacts arising from technology and system changes.
3. Gather, analyse and document business, operational and technical requirements.
4. Translate stakeholder discussions and business needs into clear, structured requirements and practical implementation outputs.
5. Support analysis across investment technology, systems, data and related operational processes.
6. Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
7. Identify dependencies, issues and gaps across investment processes, systems and data.
8. Support the implementation of investment platforms, tools and associated process changes.
9. Produce detailed Business Analyst documentation and tangible project deliverables.
10. Work independently with project leadership and stakeholders to progress assigned areas of analysis and implementation.

Requirements Operating Model Business Analyst
To be considered for the position of Operating Model Business Analyst , you should possess the following:-

1. Strong hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, business change professional or transformation consultant within financial services.
2. Demonstrated experience in operating model analysis, target operating model initiatives, process redesign or business transformation .
3. Previous experience within asset management, investment management or an investment-related environment would be highly advantageous.
4. Strong understanding of how business change can impact multiple areas across people, process, technology and data.
5. Experience assessing broader operational impacts including finance, contractual arrangements, and services.
6. Strong process analysis, impact assessment and problem-solving capabilities.
7. Proven ability to identify cross-functional dependencies and downstream consequences of business change.
8. Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
9. Ability to convert complex stakeholder discussions into structured analysis and practical project deliverables.
10. Strong hands-on delivery mindset with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision.

Technical Implementation Business Analyst
To be considered for the position of Technical Implementation Business Analyst , you should possess the following:-

1. Strong hands-on Business Analyst experience within financial services.
2. Strong experience within asset management, investment management or institutional investments .
3. Solid understanding of investment operations and investment management processes .
4. Experience working across investment technology, systems, processes and data.
5. Previous exposure to investment management platforms and associated implementation or transformation initiatives.
6. Experience with leading front-to-back investment management platforms , such as BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River IMS, SimCorp Dimension, Bloomberg AIM or similar solutions, would be highly advantageous.
7. Strong business and technical requirements gathering, analysis and documentation capabilities.
8. Experience working directly across business, operations, technology and data stakeholders.
9. Ability to understand complex investment processes and translate business requirements into clear implementation outputs.
10. Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
11. A practical and hands-on delivery approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of detailed analysis.
