Meet our Team
Hitachi Digital Services Japan, which is the HDS's Japan country office, is strengthening its offshore engineering services leveraging development centers in Vietnam and India, building a global delivery structure that combines high quality and cost competitiveness.
What you'll be doing
- Work closely with Japanese customers to gather, clarify, and document business and system requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications or user stories for the development team.
- Communicate effectively between Japanese stakeholders and offshore technical teams (Vietnam/India).
- Support project managers in requirement tracking, change management, and test planning.
- Review deliverables and provide feedback to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Participate in system walkthroughs, demos, and user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions.
- Prepare bilingual documentation (Japanese/English).
What you bring to the team
- B.S., M.S. or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant major.
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, system analysis, or bridging role between customer and development team.
- Japanese: Native or business level.
- English : Business level (for meetings and documentation with overseas centers).
- Vietnamese: Business level (for communication and negotiation with local SE team)
- Experience working onsite in Japan or with Japanese enterprise customers.
- Experience in writing BRD/FSD, workflow diagrams, or use cases.
- Understanding of software development processes (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge in one of the following domains is a plus: Energy, Rail, Manufacturing, or Utilities.
