Description
The Project Controls Manager oversees the planning, monitoring, and control of projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role is responsible for developing project control systems, managing schedules, costs, and risks, and providing accurate performance reports to support informed decision-making. The purpose is to drive effective project governance and contribute to the successful execution of organizational objectives.Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules and cost control systems.
- Monitor project progress and performance against plans.
- Prepare and present regular reports on project status, risks, and forecasts.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment on timelines and budgets.
- Implement change management processes and assess impacts.
- Support risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
- Lead and mentor project control staff.
- Perform related duties as assigned by Line Manager
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls within large-scale construction / infrastructure projects.
- proven experience with delivery in high-rise tower projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (master's preferred).
- Proven expertise in scheduling software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Prior experience working in a PMC consulting environment is highly preferred.
