Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager in AI and Transportation Consultancy to join our team! In this role you will get to lead innovative digital transformation within the mobility field.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of an AI consultancy project for a major regional client focused on transportation, mobility, digital transformation, and technology-enabled programmes.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, quality, and reporting activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams comprising AI experts, transportation specialists, digital and data consultants, technology architects, engineers, change management practitioners, and subject matter experts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong working relationships and ensuring effective communication throughout programme delivery.
• Lead project governance activities, including chairing meetings, progress reporting, risk and issue management, change control, decision management, and executive-level reporting.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, workshops, interviews, technical reviews, requirements gathering sessions, and programme coordination meetings.
• Support the identification, assessment, prioritisation, and oversee implementation of AI-enabled opportunities that improve transportation service delivery, asset optimization, decision-making, customer experience, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Manage the development of business cases, implementation plans, investment recommendations, operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps.
• Coordinate the activities of consultants, vendors, technology providers, and subcontractors where required, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and contractual requirements.
• Oversee the implementation, testing, acceptance, and operational readiness of digital and AI-enabled solutions, ensuring successful adoption and delivery of measurable outcomes.
• Monitor programme performance and ensure that deliverables are integrated, quality assured, and submitted in accordance with project requirements.
• Support organisational change, stakeholder adoption, capability development, and knowledge transfer activities associated with digital and AI-led transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to business development activities, client engagement, proposal preparation, project mobilisation, and strategic growth initiatives within the transportation sector.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Transportation, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience managing complex transportation, infrastructure, digital, technology, or business transformation programmes.
• Demonstrated experience successfully delivering multidisciplinary projects involving multiple stakeholders, technical disciplines, and workstreams.
• Experience delivering AI strategy, digital transformation, smart mobility, digital twin, asset management, analytics, or operational improvement programmes.
• Experience developing implementation roadmaps, business cases, governance frameworks, operating models, capability development plans, or technology transformation strategies.
• Experience managing projects involving transportation technologies, intelligent transportation systems, smart mobility solutions, AI-enabled applications, digital platforms, data and analytics, or enterprise technology environments.
• Strong understanding of project and programme management principles, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, stakeholder, and risk management.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating activities across technical, operational, and business functions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including experience working with executive leadership teams and senior client representatives.
• Experience managing consultants, contractors, technology vendors, and delivery partners.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical implementation plans and delivery programmes.
• Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within complex, fast-paced delivery environments.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, predictive modelling, decision-support systems, Generative AI, or other emerging digital technologies.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems integration, cloud platforms, data platforms, geospatial technologies, and digital ecosystem design.
• Understanding of data governance, cybersecurity, technology governance, organisational change management, and business transformation principles.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, or equivalent.
• Experience working within the Middle East and on major transportation or infrastructure programmes.
• Arabic language skills would be beneficial.
