Description
Role Purpose:The Senior Associate, Communities Business Management works within the Business Management team led by the COO for Workflows, helping to drive strategic initiatives, execution, management information, and selected operational activities to ensure the effective and efficient running of the business.
The role is accountable for supporting a strong operating rhythm across Workflows, enabling delivery against ambitious Divisional Strategic Objectives, improving operating efficiency, and supporting financial performance and customer outcomes. This position plays a key role in coordinating, analysing, and translating information into actionable insight.
Responsibilities:
Business Management & Operations
- Support the delivery of business management, strategic, and operational initiatives for Workflows, ensuring alignment to agreed Divisional Strategic Objectives and efficient use of resources.
- Support the Workflows business and senior stakeholders with both strategic and tactical day-to-day delivery, providing high quality decision-making information on a recurring and ad hoc basis.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Workflows operating rhythm, including key calendars, governance forums, templates, timelines, and submissions.
- Coordinate cross functional activity to ensure consistent ways of working and effective execution across the Workflows organisation.
- Develop and enhance management information, metrics, and reporting to measure business performance, operating effectiveness, and progress against objectives.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance, translating complex information into clear insights for senior audiences.
- Support analytical and investigative work to support business performance reviews, investment decisions, and strategic planning.
- Seek out opportunities for process improvement, increased automation, and improved quality of MI and dashboards.
- Participate in and support Workflows governance, ensuring clarity of ownership for actions.
- Support Investment Planning processes within Workflows, ensuring information is current, accurate, and clearly summarised for senior governance forums.
- Ensure delivery and progress tracking is transparent and well maintained through appropriate tools and reporting mechanisms.
- Support Business Continuity, reconciliation, and periodic planning activities (monthly, quarterly, annual) as required.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with Business and Functional Leads, working collaboratively to deliver shared objectives.
- Support key forums such as leadership meetings, offsites, community calls, and operational reviews, including preparation of high-quality materials and follow up actions.
- Collaborate with Business Control Officer as needed on risk, control, and assurance activities as required.
- Support specific Finance-related or cross-functional programmes in a project management capacity where needed.
- Provide support on ad-hoc initiatives aligned to business priorities.
Experience & Capability
- Experience in Business Management, Transformation, Change, Management Information, or related disciplines within a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated track record of partnering with stakeholders and producing high-quality materials for executive audiences.
- Experience supporting projects or workstreams with accountability for outcomes and ongoing delivery.
- Strong analytical capability, including experience working with financial data and performance reporting.
- Ideally, experience in Financial Services & Software industry.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- High attention to detail combined with a pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently while operating effectively within a matrixed environment and as a member of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with producing management information and reporting, and familiarity with dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Asana or similar).
- Comfortable performing data analysis to support insights, decision-making, and performance management.
Senior Associate
Compensation Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between zł130,500 - zł206,500. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan ("bonus plan"). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
