About this roleWells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to serve as a strategic liaison between Enterprise Business Resiliency and key business groups. This role is responsible for driving the consistent application of enterprise resiliency practices, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and enterprise standards, and enhancing the organization's ability to identify, assess, and manage portfolio-level risk. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise resiliency, risk management, governance, and strategic execution, along with the ability to influence and partner effectively across a complex, matrixed organization.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving strategic initiatives, business performance, and enterprise resiliency objectives.
- Lead the development and delivery of executive-level communications, reporting, and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Drive the resolution of highly complex business challenges, leveraging strong analytical skills and business execution expertise to deliver long-term, scalable solutions.
- Provide thought leadership, vision, and strategic direction in the design and implementation of innovative resiliency and business execution solutions across the enterprise.
- Facilitate leadership forums, governance routines, steering committees, and working groups to support decision-making and execution of strategic priorities.
- Partner with business leaders across multiple lines of business to promote consistent resiliency practices and strengthen organizational preparedness.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Enterprise Business Resiliency and assigned business portfolios.
- Establish, standardize, and mature resiliency frameworks, governance routines, and execution practices across portfolios.
- Drive proactive risk identification, monitoring, and reporting to enhance visibility and support informed decision-making.
- Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on priorities, mitigate risks, and execute against enterprise resiliency objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Business Execution, Business Management, Strategic Planning, Program Management, Enterprise Resiliency, Risk Management, or related experience, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise resiliency, operational resilience, business continuity, and risk management frameworks.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate regulatory expectations and resiliency requirements into practical, scalable business solutions.
- Demonstrated experience assessing portfolio-level risks and providing actionable recommendations that improve consistency, efficiency, and risk management outcomes.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders across a highly matrixed organization.
- Experience designing and implementing governance frameworks, operating models, and execution routines that drive accountability and standardization.
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into concise, actionable insights.
- Experience operating within a large, highly regulated financial services environment.
- Ability to lead through influence and effectively drive change across multiple business groups and organizational boundaries.
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- 3 days in the office, 2-day remote schedule
