Job Title
Functional oversight of global Project Delivery Systems across Worley. Lead the product team and align with partners who support Worley's Business Processes / Product Owner, Technical management, Governance, Standardisation, Efficiency improvement, enhancements, and automations to deliver sustainable solutions.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Coordinates with business process / product owners and digital project delivery directors to ensure business functional needs are defined in product systems roadmap
• In collaboration with Enterprise Applications Architect, support and assist Product Owner on their requirements to define product systems roadmap, development of standards, upgrade plan and implementation
• Responsible for the maintenance/integrity of GSR data associated with their software/function
• Responsible for governance and deviation processes for digital products within their function
• Responsible for global leadership of their portfolio of digital products ensuring business needs are met and aligned with overall functional standards and strategies
• Implements the strategy and priorities for their digital product portfolio
• Champios adoption of digital products within their function
• Drives rationalization of their digital products portfolio
• Manages product suitability and initiate product evaluations
• Defines the requirements of standard tool builds to ensure business functional needs have been met, value is realised, and benefits are validated and captured
• Encourages positive working relationships with key business stakeholders such as the Technical Product Managers, Product Owners and Business Process Owners, understand, and manage expectations.
• Proactively work with Worley Digital stakeholders incl regional DEMs, to set clear product vision and strategy, aligning with company goals and business work processes.
• Leads connect community (networks) of Subject Matter Experts and Technology Experts to facilitate two-way communication between Business and Worley Digital
• Working with regional DEMs and other Worley Digital teams; Establishes rapid methods to support accelerated project start-up/initiation (incl. capture of value realisation)
• Proactively provides feedback on preferred effective and efficient licensing needs and strategies for respective area
• Deep domain knowledge in the use of a suite of EPC/EPCM project delivery-specific applications in the energy, chemicals & resources sector
• Hands-on practical experience as a project delivery lead specialist with one or more of the major tools on major projects
• High level of understanding of functional work processes and procedures, overall EPC business, and project execution
• Sound understanding of business analysis techniques and methods to extract requirements, document processes and translate business needs into functional outputs
• Demonstrated experience with working with technical solutions experts to translate functional requirements into robust fit-for-purpose technical solutions
• Understanding of the importance of applications architecture as it relates to systems strategy and tools selection
• Primary stakeholder for Worley Digital initiatives within their respective areas, relating to systems implementation, change management & communications
• Develop use cases and functional specifications with respective business case, project execution strategy and planning of new enhancements or new Product addition
• Drives delivery of digital standards continuous improvement initiatives
• Selection, training, releasing employees per management direction
Global Level Details
• Strong fundamental Functional and technical knowledge of Product systems.
• Knowledge of other EPC functions such as supply chain, construction, document management, cost estimation, and planning.
• Good knowledge of Interfaces with other applications.
• Strong overall understanding of project requirements, deliverables, and work processes.
• Make Digital Project delivery management decisions under the general direction of the Digital Project Delivery head.
• Manages product support resource mobilization and demobilization to maintain sufficient resourcing and ensure cost effectiveness.
• Accountable for the performance of the team, discipline risks, and driving continuous improvement.
• Implements approved discipline programs in accordance with budget and company policy.
• Has functional awareness of cross-discipline products/tools.
• Experienced in coordinating the establishment/use of integrated tools and delivering the benefits of data centric proficiency & maturity framework.
• Assume hands-on management and implementation of all relevant company HSE requirements.
• Role-model a commitment to personal well-being and a pro-active approach to continuously improving health, safety, and environmental performance.
What you will bring
Requirements:
- University Degree: Professional Industrial, Mechanical or Civil Engineer;
- Typically, 10+ years relevant experience. Recognized as a specialist, providing consultation to others.
- 6+ years of Experience in the management and control of energy projects (preferably in oil & gas, natural gas transportation).
- Experience in pipelines y/or CS. PMI o AACEI methodologies knowledge. CPM, PERT
- Bilingual (Spanish/english or Portuguese/English)
