The Sr. Analyst role, reporting to the Lead Director of Provider Standardization, supports initiatives focused on provider data accuracy, operational effectiveness, process standardization, and strategic improvement efforts across multiple lines of business. This role combines project execution, analytical problem solving, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement to support scalable operations and improve business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in ambiguity, organizing complex workstreams, supporting cross-functional initiatives, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
Responsibilities
Project & Initiative Management
- Lead and support projects related to provider standardization, provider experience, operational effectiveness, and data quality initiatives
- Manage initiative lifecycles from intake through implementation, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, risk identification, stakeholder alignment, and sustainment activities
- Track initiative progress and communicate updates, risks, barriers, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
- Support execution of strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned
Process Improvement & Business Analysis
- Evaluate current workflows and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, manual work, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Support process mapping, root cause analysis, and development of future-state workflows where appropriate
- Recommend improvements that improve accuracy, reduce turnaround times, enhance quality, and support scalable operations
- Analyze operational trends, stakeholder feedback, and business needs to identify improvement opportunities and support recommendations
Stakeholder Partnership & Execution
- Partner with internal business teams, operational areas, and leadership to define objectives, requirements, risks, and expected outcomes for initiatives
- Facilitate discussions, drive follow-ups, and maintain alignment across stakeholders throughout project execution
- Support change management activities associated with new processes, implementations, or operational changes
- Act as a liaison between operational teams, business partners, and supporting functions including reporting, technology, or implementation teams as needed
Reporting & Operational Support
- Support monitoring of operational performance through existing dashboards, metrics, and reporting processes
- Help identify reporting gaps, business needs, and opportunities for improved visibility into operational performance
- Assist in development of presentations, status updates, and executive-level summaries
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience supporting or leading projects, operational initiatives, or cross-functional work efforts
- Demonstrated ability to organize ambiguous work, solve problems, and translate business needs into actionable plans
- Experience managing multiple priorities and coordinating work across stakeholders
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience using business tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, or similar applications
- Ability to work independently while driving initiatives forward with minimal oversight
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare operations, Medicaid, Medicare, provider operations, credentialing, or regulated environments
- Experience with Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, operational excellence, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with workflow analysis, process mapping, or operational improvement initiatives
- Experience working with dashboards, reporting tools, or Power BI
- Experience supporting automation efforts, implementations, or technology-enabled improvements
- Project management certification preferred but not required

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
