All Valley Pet Clinic at Federal Way is looking for a full-time Veterinarian, Medical Director to join our team in Boise, ID!

About You

As a clinical leader in our hospital, you'll drive positive change and medical excellence. In collaborative partnership with the Practice Manager and hospital leadership team, you will guide the hospital's medical standards, support hospital performance, and foster a positive, collaborative culture. Central to this role is

your active involvement in recruiting and retaining top veterinary talent, coaching and developing associate DVMs, and upholding high standards of patient care.

You'll mentor and develop associate veterinarians, support hospital operations through effective leadership and data-informed decision making, and play a key part in shaping clinical excellence and team engagement - all while modeling Thrive Pet Healthcare's Core Values.

About All Valley Pet Clinic

All Valley Clinic at Federal Way is a 3,500-square-foot general practice with a friendly, collaborative team and a strong focus on patient and client care. The hospital has 4 exam rooms, including a dedicated feline-friendly room with a separate entrance, as well as modern surgical and dental equipment, ultrasound, dental radiography, cautery, suction, and in-house bloodwork capabilities.

The team is close-knit and enjoys spending time together outside of work through regular team activities. They are eager to learn, share knowledge, and welcome a Medical Director who can help them continue to grow.

We are looking for a full-time Medical Director who enjoys surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and mentorship. Surgery is an important part of the practice, with approximately three procedures per day including dentals, spays, and neuters. The Medical Director will have an opportunity to help shape the hospital’s medical direction, develop the team, and expand its diagnostic and surgical capabilities.

The hospital sees a mix of wellness, preventive care, urgent cases, walk-ins, and drop-offs, providing variety in the day-to-day caseload. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who wants to combine clinical medicine with leadership and team development while joining a welcoming practice with room to grow.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time salary range starting at $165,000/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Your Experience & Skills

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required; must hold a valid state veterinary board license in good standing for the state of hire, prior to date
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
• At least 3 years of veterinary practice experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop team members
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and oral communication
• Sound medical reasoning skills and strong medical ethics
